Gorgeous! Wow! The intricacy yet the massiveness of the structure. And the delicate coloring of the stone...pinks and grays. I can't imagine what it would cost to replicate this today.

If even artisans with enough skill could be found to do such work...

My favourite view in the library is from the lower of the two stairway arches there, looking up but from the other side (i.e. not on the stairs) so you get the balcony and the dome above in, did you take any from there because it never comes out properly on my camera?
