:D I hope this is helpful to anybody who wishes to make their own cloak or variations thereof....

any problems/comments etc please note me or leave a comment here :) Feedback is useful but please remember this is only my way.... and by no means a definitive guide in the art of making cloaks.... ;P

i love you for this. now I can make one I can get dirty! My mom bought me a velvet cloak and I rarely wear it because it was pricey...and a gift...and it's velvet and I don't want to pay the cleaning bills!

:D Yer velvet can be an arse to clean :S Pretty much any cotton/polycotton/nylon fabric does the trick with this one, and if you can't get super wide you can just seam it down the centre to give you the extra width :)
